Govt ready for talks with Naxals: CM

Hyderabad, Jan 1: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today said the state government was ready for talks with Naxalites if they lay down their arms.

Talking to newspersons here, Dr Reddy said the government was always prepared for talks with the Naxalites.

He said the government never resorted to ''illegal killing'' of the Naxalites.
