Coir Board launches official website

Kochi, Jan 1 (UNI) To give a boost to the coir industry, the Coir Board today launched an official website.

According to an official release here, the portal would provide all information on coir, processing aspects, coir products, research and development, the offers of the Board to the industry, trade and online registration for the stakeholders in the coir sector.

The sites, "www.coirboard.gov.in" and "coirboard.nic.in", would help the business community to contact the exporters, producers and machine manufacturers in the coir industry for production, marketing, export of coir and coir products, the release said.

The website is linked to important government and private websites, the release added.
