Bajaj Auto posts 26 pc growth in motorcycle sales for Dec'06
Mumbai, Jan 1 (UNI) Bajaj Auto has posted a 26 per cent growth in motorcycle sales for the month of December 2006 at 187,063 nos as compared to 148,263 nos in December 2005.
The total number of two-wheelers sold during the month under review was 187,179 nos as compared to 154,925, up by 21 per cent, a company's release issued here said.
The total number of three-wheelers sold during this period was 27,749 as against 18,534 nos in December 2005, an increase of 50 per cent.
Exports out of the above stood at 39,385 as against 18,534 in the comparable period of last year, a rise of 113 per cent.
