Arms, ammunition including rocket launcher bomb recovered
Jammu, Jan 1 (UNI) Security Forces today recovered a arms cache and busted a hide-out of militants in border Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said here.
Sources said state police, in a joint operation with the Army in general area of Nadiyal under Surankote police station, recovered five Chinese grenades, one pistol magazine (rusted) and nine 09 mm rounds from a natural cave.
In another joint operation, launched by state police and 11th battalion of Border Security Force (BSF) in Kallion Challadh area of Arnas police post, a hide out of militants was busted and five rocket launcher bombs, 275 rounds, pika ammunition, one AK magazine, one wireless set (damaged), two wireless set batteries, two pairs of combat dress, one belt, one rain coat, two plastic cane and two tape recorders were recovered.
However, the militants managed to escape into the dense forests.
