Akali Dal election manifesto in next 10 days

Jalandhar, Jan 1 (UNI) Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) will release its election manifesto, for February 13 assembly polls in Punjab, within next ten days.

Stating this here today, SAD General Secretary Sukhbir Singh Badal said that economic and industrial revival programme for the state, committment for overall development of the state and governance through pro-poor policies would be the highlights of the manifesto.

Mr Badal said that SAD was committed to economic and industrial revival of the state and the top most priority would be given to the task of making Punjab a power surplus state in next three years and attract more and real industrial investment.

Mr Badal also ensured that the process of implementation of committments of the manifesto would begin from day one if the party came to power following the elections.
