2 wanted miscreants held

Lucknow, Jan 1 (UNI) Two wanted burglars, carrying a reward of Rs 2,500 each on their head, were arrested in Lalitpur district of Uttar Pradesh.

The miscreants confessed that posing as college students, they used to rob passengers of their valuables aboard different trains.

On December 22 last, the duo had robbed people aboard Pathankot Express, police said.

Police said Sambhav Singh and Banti alias Bantu -- both residents of Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, were nabbed at the Lalitpur Railway station late last night.

A case was registered and hunt was on to arrest their associates.
