2 people shot dead

Lucknow, Jan 1 (UNI) Two people were killed by unidentified assailants in Kanpur late last night, police today said.

Jogendra Valmiki and Ankesh Bajpai were shot, when they were returning after the New Year celebrations under Naubasta police station area.

Personal dispute is said to be the reason behind the crime.

The accused have been arrested, police added.
