2 killed, 125 injured during New Year revelry

Jaipur, Jan 1: Two people were killed and 125 others injured in road accidents while indulging in New Year revelry here late last night.

According to police, most of the people were injured as they were speeding on their vehicles after partying on the new year's eve.

High on spirits, these people indulged in wayward driving leading to accidents.

Two of the deceased have been identified as Suresh Pande and Sunil Jain. They died while undergoing treatment at the Sawai Man Singh Hospital (SMS) here.

The police said 28 injured people were admitted at the SMS Hospital last night. Family members of most of the injured were informed by the police.
