VP completes Pondy visit

Puducherry, Dec 31 (UNI) Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat left Puducherry today at 1430 hrs after a two-day visit to the Union Territory.

The Vice-President was seen off at the Ouppalam Helipad by Lt Governor Mukut Mithi, Chief Minister N Rangasamy and his Cabinet colleagues.

During his visit, Mr Shekhawat addressed the 17th convocation at the Pondicherry Central University and visited the Manakkula Vinayagar Temple, Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville besides attending a breakfast hosted by AICC General Secretary V Narayansami.
