Rhino's Super Deluxe model launched
Chandigarh, Dec 31 (UNI) Announcing the launch of multi-utility vehicle (MUV) Rhino, the makers of Sonalika tractors, International Cars and Motors Limited (ICML) today said it will invest Rs 700 crore in expanding its existing plant here and upgrading the vehicle.
''The group has invested about Rs 300 crore in the plant,'' ICML Chairman L D Mittal told media persons.
Rhino Super Deluxe, a new entrant in the luxury segment, has been developed in collaboration with UK's Lotus Engineering, a globally known company that specialises in making SUV's with automotive excellence.
Mr Mittal said, so far 500 vehicles have been sold after the launch in January this year and from the existing 10 dealers in Haryana and Punjab, by June next year, the vehicle would be available pan-India.
Rhino comes in four variants with a price tag of Rs 6.92 lakh for SDX, Rs 6.67 lakh for Deluxe, Rs 5.97 lakh for S2 and Rs 5.35 lakh for S1 model respectively.
The new Rhino comes in an ensemble of dual tone body paint, leatherette seats, dual tone upholstery, attractive colours range, side view mirror with indicator lights power windows and steering and dual AC, the Chairman said.
He said,''We have provided all the luxurious features at optimum price and extended the benefit of excise free zone in Himachal Pradesh to our customers.'' UNI
