Passengers leave for B'lore after 14 hrs delay

Hyderabad, Dec 31: All the 157 passengers on board the privateairliner Air Sahara left for Bangalore today after being stranded heredue to the aircraft developing technical snag within minutes of itstake-off last night.

According to Air Sahara sources, the boeing 738-100, which tookoff at 2155 hrs with 157 passengers and seven crew returned to theairport with in 15 minutes after the pilot noticed some technicalproblem.

The authorities of the airliner made arrangements for the stay of passengers in a local hotel.

After necessary repairs, the same flight left for Bangalore at 0715 hrs this morning after a delay of 14 hours, sources added.
