Kashmir: Six officials suspended for missing duty
Srinagar, Dec 31: The Jammu and Kashmir government has suspendedsix of its officials for remaining absent from duty, an officialspokesman said today.
He said Transport Minister Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen conducted asurprise inspection of the Regional Transport Office (RTO) hereyesterday and found six officials absent from duty.
The Minister later directed the Deputy Commissioner, Badgam to put the absentee officials under suspension.
During the inspection, Hakeem Yaseen found unaccounted money of Rs 12,030, besides a fee of Rs 2,600 with the Accountant.
He asked Superintendent of Police, Badgam, Mohammad Amin to conduct an inquiry into it and submit his report within three days.
