Gazprom denies deal on new gas price with Belarus

MOSCOW, Dec 30 (Reuters) Russia's gas monopoly Gazprom denied on Saturday it had agreed to supply gas to Belarus at 0 per 1,000 cubic metres in 2007.

''We deny we have agreed this price and many other things, which were said at a news conference in Minsk. Unfortunately I cannot say we are nearing a deal,'' Gazprom's spokesman Sergei Kupriyanov told Reuters.
