Ancient idol missing at Ram Janki Temple

Allahabad, Dec 31 (UNI) Miscreants burgled the ancient Ram Janki Temple and decamped with an 'ashtadhatu' idol of Lord Hanuman in this district of Uttar Pradesh.

Police today said the incident occurred in Mubarakpur Kotwa area under Dhoomanganj police station area, where an ancient idol, estimated at Rs one crore in the international market, was found missing last night.

A hunt was on to nab the accused.
