AICC gen sec hosts breakfast for Vice-President

Puducherry, Dec 31: All India Congress Committee (AICC) GeneralSecretary V Narayanasamy, MP, hosted breakfast to Vice-PresidentBhairon Singh Shekhawat here today.

The Vice-President, who is on a two-day visit to the Union Territory was served with South India delicacies.

Lt Governor Mukut Mithi, Chief Minister N Rangasamy, his Cabinetcolleagues, Congress party functionaries, legislators and leaders ofvarious political parties attended the breakfast.

Later, the Vice-President visited the famous Manakkula Vinayagar temple where he was accorded a traditional welcome.

He also visited the Sri Aurobindo ashram and is scheduled to visitthe Auroville before leaving Puducherry for New Delhi at 1430 hourstoday.
