3 killed, 13 injured in UP road mishaps

Lucknow, Dec 31: At least three people were killed and 13 othersinjured in separate road accidents in Uttar Pradesh this morning.

Police said the speeding Uttar Pradesh State Road TransportCorporation (UPSRTC) bus, on way to Badaun from New Delhi, rammed intoa road side tree due to thick fog under Naraura police station area inBulandshahr district.

Two people were killed on the spot, while 11 seriously injured were rushed to a hospital.

One person was killed and two others injured when a speedingmotorcycle, in which they were travelling, collided with a roadways busin the state capital.

The accident took place under Gosaiganj police station area, when the trio were on way to Lucknow from Sultanpur.

The injured were rushed to a hospital in a serious condition.

Cases were registered, police said.
