Three of a family killed in mishap

Coimbatore, Dec 30 (UNI) Three persons of a family, including an eight-year-old boy, were killed on the spot when a two wheeler in which they were travelling was hit by a van at Kinathukidavu near here this afternoon.

Police said a couple was on their way to a private hospital along with their grandson from Avarampalayam village when the accident occured.

The deceased were idcentified as Amasi (50), wife Subalakshmi (45) and Prasanth (8).

The bodies were removed to Coimbatore Medical College Hospital for post-mortem.
