Telangana Cong MP unhappy
Hyderabad, Dec 30 (UNI) Telangana Congress MP Madhu Yashki Goud, who has been strongly advocating the formation of separate Telangana state, today expressed anguish that he was not invited to the Telangana Regional Congress Co-ordination Committee (TRCCC) held here.
Talking to newspersons, he termed the decision of the TRCCC of not inviting him to the meeting as undemocratic.
Mr Goud said when he openly aired his views on the formation of Telangana state, he was advised by party leadership not to raise the issue in public and discuss it only in party fora.
He said though he and another Congress MP Sarve Satyanarayana requested the PCC President K Keshava Rao to invite them to the party meetings so that they could express their opinions, the leadership chose not to invite them to the important TRCCC meeting.
He questioned the Congress leaders how they could raise the Telangana issue in party fora, when they were not even being invited to important meetings of the party.
