Sugar prices decline due to lack of fresh demand
Mumbai, Dec 30 (UNI) Sugar prices declined today on account of lack of fresh demand, on the last day of trading this year, traders at the Bombay Sugar Merchants' Association said.
Prices of sugar in small and medium grade eased by Rs five per quintal each, due to thin buying support.
Ex-mill small grade sugar prices declined by Rs 25 and medium grade sugar too eased slightly up by Rs 10 per quintal due to higher advice, traders added.
