Sarpanch votes against self

Betul(MP), Dec 30 (UNI) In a bizzare incident, a village sarpanch voted in favour of a 'no confidence' motion brought against him.

''It happened due to my ignorance as I was voted out 14-0'' said Yashwant Mogrekar after the voting at Parsoda village in this district yesterday.

Tahsildar G C Daheria, who presided over the voting, declared the 'no confidence' motion passed 14-0. Besides the sarpanch, deputy sarpanch and other panchs took part in the voting.
