Precious metals rise

Mumbai, Dec 30: Silver today hiked by Rs 105 per kg and Gold by Rs 25 per ten gram on the last day of trading of the year, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following were the closing rates of Silver and Gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 19,535 (19,430) Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 9,170 (9,145) Gold 99.9 purity pure Gold : Rs 9,215 (9,195).
