NFL kicks off on Jan 5 JCT to take on Mohd Sporting

New Delhi, Dec 30 (UNI) JCT will take on Mohammedan Sporting in the inaugural match of the 11th National Football League (NFL) which kicks off here on January 5.

In Round one, HAL face Mohun Bagan on January 6 in Bangalore while Air India take on another Kolkatan giant East Bengal in Mumbai the following day.

Churchill Brothers play Goan rivals Sporting Club de Goa on January 7 in Duler while, defending champions Mahindra United begin their campaign against Dempo SC in Mumbai on January 8.

The second round will begin on January 10. In all, four rounds will be played in the month of January.
