Kachai Lemon fest in Jan

Imphal, Dec 30 (UNI) To encourage the local farmers, the third Kachai Lemon Festival will be organised by the Kachai Fruit Farmers' Co-operative Society from January 12, at Ukhrul.

The Kachai village of the Ukhrul district is famed for its lemon production.

Due to lack of proper infrastructure and communications the produces could not be properly utilised and marketed.
