Introduce commerce from secondary school: VC

Visakhapatnam, Dec 30 (UNI) Andhra University Vice-Chancellor L Venugopal Reddy today urged the Central and State Governments to introduce commerce right from the secondary school curriculum.

Addressing a media conference here Mr Reddy, who is also All India Commerce Conference secretary, said "commerce education should respond to the changes and challenges of the time.

He said there was an urgent need to professionalise commerce education involving the service sectors, industry, business and trade in designing and delivery of need-based outputs.
