Haryana forms State Council on AIDS
Chandigarh, Dec 30 (UNI) The Haryana government has constituted a State Council on AIDS and State Co-ordination Committee for ''mainstreaming'' the campaign against the HIV/AIDS in the state.
A spokesman for the Haryana AIDS Control Society today said the Minister for Health and Family Welfare would be the president of the Council.
He said the members of the Council included Chief Secretary, Chief Parliamentary Secretary, nominee of National AIDS Control Society, Haryana Financial Commissioner and Principal Secretaries Industry, Education, Director General, Health Services, Director, Public Relations, Conferderation of Indian Industry, President, Indian Medical Association, Haryana Branch.
Other members woule be Honorary Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Haryana Branch, Representatives of Faith Based Organisation, celebrities/icon representatives of major parnters/donors and Project Director, Haryana AIDS Control Society would be its Member Secretary.
