Four killed in separate car accidents

Barrackpore, Dec 30 (UNI) At least three people were killed in a car accident on Taki Road under Basirhat police station in North 24 Parganas this aftrernoon.

The accident occurred when a Basirhat bound private bus collided with a Barasat bound Indica car killing three of its occupants including the driver. The accident caused traffic snarl on the busy state highway at Bibipur.

Police recovered the bodies and seized the bus.

Last night a 28-year-old cyclist was rammed and run over by a speedy truck on the Barrackpore-Barasat road at Mohunpur under Titagarh police station in the district. Police seized the truck while driver fled.
