Five of a family get life term

Hajipur, Dec 30 (UNI) A local court here today awarded life imprisonment to five members of a family in a murder charge of 2001.

Additional District and Session Judge Vijay Bahadur Mall also slapped a fine of Rs 10,000 each to all convicts.

The convicts had killed one Bhola Singh with sharp edged weapon on June 25, 2001 at Maidih village under Patepur police station in Vaishali district.

Ram Sarekh Singh and his sons-- Mithish Singh, Devendra Singh, Subodh Singh and Mithilesh Singh were convicted in the case.
