Eight batsmen out for ducks!

Bhopal, Dec 30 (UNI) A unique record was created during an under-15 cricket match between Bhopal Division and the Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd Division here today when the latter team's 10 players returned to pavilion one after another while the score remained frozen at 41.

Bhopal won by a massive 665 run margin.

''The record was made on the final day of the three-day encounter at the Babe Ali Ground. BHEL Division began their second innings after lunch and were 41 for no loss at one point,'' said Bhopal Divisional Cricket Association Vice-Chairman Mohammad Shafqat Khan.

At that juncture Dhamendra Mandrai (21) and Tushar Rao (20) were at the crease. Disaster struck after that and eight batsmen were out for ducks. Bhopal's Zaid M Khan claimed six wickets in 3.1 maiden overs, Tanmay Patwardhan took three while one batsman was run out.

Earlier, BHEL were bundled out for 67 in the first innings against Bhopal's 539. Bhopal declared their second innings at 234/1.
