Cold wave persists in Rajasthan
Jaipur, Dec 30 (UNI) The cold wave in Rajasthan persisted although temperatures rose to two-three degrees in the last 24 hours.
Ganganagar at 4.4 degrees Celsius remains the coldest in the state today. The state capital recorded two degrees Celsius today from yesterday's 3 degrees Celsius.Incidentally, yesterday was the coldest day for the Pink City this season. Jaipur recorded 5.6 degrees Celsius today.
According to police, an unidentified person, aged 45 years, died due to the cold yesterday in the city's Bais Godam area. With this, the total number of people killed due to the cold has risen to three.
According to the Met department, most places recorded a rise of 2 to 4 degrees Celsius. Churu recorded 5.3, Pilani 6.3, Barmer 6.5, Bikaner 6.9, Jaisalmer 8.8, Udaipur 9.2, Jodhpur 10.3, Ajmer 10.6, Jhalawar 11 and Kota 12.3 degrees Celsius.
