CBI files chargesheets in Olavakode theft case

Kochi, Dec 30 (UNI) The CBI has filed chargesheets against 17 people in connection with strong room theft case at the Olavakode Forest Range Office in Palakkad district, before the CBI Court here.

According to an official release here, chargesheets were filed against Mohammed, Thomas, Shajan, Ali Rahman, Sajith, Ashraf Ali, Vadivelu, C G Murali Kumar, Balu, K Suni Kumar, K Kabaleswaran Aboobacker, Abdul Rahman, Mohammed, Saravanan, Bhaskar and Sampath.

The case relates to theft of seized sandalwood-related products from the strong room of the range office during the period 1999 to 2002.
