Bihar-based naxalite held

Lucknow, Dec 30 (UNI) A dreaded naxalite, carrying a reward of Rs 20,000 on his head, was arrested in Chandauli district of Uttar Pradesh.

Police said the naxalite Chotu Bind, resident of Bhabhua district, Bihar was nabbed in Sahabganj police station area.

On being frisked, a revolver and a large number of cartridges were recovered from his possession last night.

His name spelled terror in Bihar, where several cases of loot, abduction and murder were pending against him.
