Three get life term in Banka

Banka, Dec 29 (UNI) A local court today awarded life imprisonment to three people in connection with a murder case.

The court also slapped a fine of Rs 5000 each to all convicts.

According to an FIR, the convicts had stabbed to death one Narottam Mandal on November 14, 1993 at Fatehpur village under Amarpur police station in Banka district.

Those sentenced were Sallu Das, Bhumi Das, and Karu Mandal.
