Prof Reddy conferred Ranbaxy special award

New Delhi, Dec 29 (UNI) Ranbaxy Science Foundation today presented its third Ranbaxy special award in public health to K Srinath Reddy, Professor of Cardiology, AIIMS, for his research contributions in the field of epidemiology and prevention of cardio vascular diseases.

Prof Reddy has been awarded with the award for distinguished services to public health in recognition of his outstanding national and global contributions to health promotion and prevention of cardiovascular and other chronic diseases.

The award was presented by Dr Nitya Anand, Chairman, Ranbaxy Science Foundation, a non-profit organisation set up by Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd (RLL).
