Precious metals up on good demand
Mumbai, Dec 29 (UNI) Both the Precious metals were on the upswing with Gold higher by Rs 95 per ten grams and Silver up by Rs 75 per kg on good buying support on the Bombay Bullion Exchange today.
Silver fineness opened higher at Rs 19,445 per kg on higher advice. Later, it closed at Rs 19,430 per kg with a gain of Rs 75 per kg from yesterday's close.
In London, the white metal was quoted at 12.86.92 per troy ounce against USD 12.80/12.86 per troy ounce in New York.
Similarly, standard Gold (99.5) and pure Gold (99.9) opened higher at Rs 9,120 and Rs 9,170 per ten gm respectively on better demand.
The yellow metal closed at Rs 9,145 and Rs 9,195 per ten grams respectvely from its last close.
In London, the yellow metal was at USD 630.105.10 per troy ounce as compared to USD 6270.00 per troy ounce in New York on Thursday.
