Precious metals gold, silver move northwards

Mumbai, Dec 29: Gold today went up by Rs 95 per ten grams, while Silver went up by Rs 75 per kg in the closing session, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following were the closing rates of Silver and Gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 19,430 (19,355) Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 9,145 (9,050) Gold 99.9 purity pure Gold : Rs 9,195 (9,100).
