MP nets Rs 5,282.21 cr as tax

Bhopal, Dec 29 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh collected Rs 5,282.21 crore from various taxes by November during this fiscal.

This comprised Rs 3,542.68 crore from commercial taxes, Rs 1,023.28 crore from excise, Rs 14.45 crore from entertainment tax and Rs 701.80 crore from stamp and registration duty, an official statement said here today.

The commercial taxes collection target is Rs 5,934.88 crore, it release added.
