Hizbul supporter arrested, two 303 recovered
Jammu, Dec 29 (UNI) Security forces today arrested two people including an over ground worker (OGW) of Hizbul Mujahideen and recovered arms and ammunition in Jammu region, official sources said here.
Sources said acting on a tip-off, security forces apprehended a Hizbul Mujahideen over ground worker (OGW) namely Babber Hussain, son of Ghulam Ahmed Sheikh, hailing from Chaka Bhaderwah in Doda district.
''Babber was reportedly inciting school children to join militant outfits and was further providing logistical support and information to the Hizbul militants about the movement of the security forces and police,'' sources revealed.
In a joint operation, troops of 60 Rashtriya Rifles (RR), Special Task Force (STF) and SSR-Rajouri recovered two .303 rifles and 50 rounds at Kalal Gava forest area.
Sources further said on a specific information, Doda police arrested one absconder Mohsin Khan of Bhaderwah who was involved in many criminal cases.
