Central Railway gets a new CPRO

Mumbai, Dec 29 (UNI) Mr Shrinivas Mudgerikar has taken over as the new Chief Public Relation Officer (CPRO) of Central Railway.

He succeeded Sunil Jain, who is moving to Western Railway in Senior Administrative Grade on promotion, a press release issued here today said.

Mr Mudgerikar is a post graduate engineer with a post graduate degree in Public Policy and Management from IIM, Bangalore.

He has held many important posts in Central Railway such as Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Divisional Traffic Manager and has contributed towards betterment of suburban train services in Mumbai, the release added.

Mr Mudgerikar has worked on deputation with Centre for Railway Information Systems as Regional Manager and was instrumental in capacity augmentation of railway reservation system and development of software and hardware solutions for suburban ticketing.

Prior to taking over as Chief Public Relation Officer, he was working as Deputy General Manager,Central railway at CST,Mumbai, the release added.
