Bomb scare in Devi Lal university

Sirsa, Dec 29 (UNI) The Chaudhary Devi Lal University here turned into a police camp this afternoon after an anonymous caller warned the authorities of a bomb planted in the main examination hall.

The police rushed to the university where hundreds of students were writing examination papers at the Tagore Hall. They combed the place for over an hour but found nothing suspicious, DSP Shivcharan told UNI.

The police was now tyring to trace the hoax caller, he said.

However, the police did not disturb the students and the examinations took place as scheduled, Mr Shivcharan said.
