Abducted doctor rescued in Bihar

Ranchi, Dec 29 (UNI) Jharkhand police have rescued Dr Sudeep in Bihar who was abducted on December 24 from Jharkhand's Koderma district.

Superintendent of Police, Koderma, Manoj Kumar Mishra told UNI over phone that acting on a tip off police raided Rajouli area of Bihar and rescued him, last evening.

Five people were arrested in this connection, he added.

Dr Sudeep, posted at the Sadar Hospital of Koderma, was kidnapped from Jainagar-Koderma road when he was returning to the hospital.
