Thermax sets up manufacturing unit in China

New Delhi, Dec 28 (UNI) Thermax Ltd today said it has set up a unit in China to manufacture absorption chillers with an investment of eight million dollars.

The wholly-owned subsidiary, Thermax (Zhejiang) Cooling and Heating Engineering Co Ltd, will cater to the requirements of absorption chiller market in China and other countries, the company said in a statement.

The subsidiary has already received license from the authorities concerned to commence business in China, it added.

Thermax is a global solution provider in energy and environment engineering offering products and services in heating, cooling, waste heat recovery, captive power, water treatment and recycling, waste management and performance chemicals.
