Stage actor passes away

Hyderabad, Dec 28 (UNI) Well-known stage actor and film director Krishna Chaitanya died of illness here last night.

He was 63. He is survived by his wife, a son and two daughters.

A former employee of the Visakhapatnam Port Trust, Chaitanya, who was indisposed for sometime entered filmdon in 1975 by donning the role of a villian.

Acting in more than 100 films and some television serials, he also worked with acclaimed director Relangi Narasimha Rao.

Movie Artistes Association President J Naga Babu and General Secretay Mallikarjuna Rao mourned the death of Krishna Chaitanya and conveyed their sympathies to the bereaved family.
