Militants have 26 camps in Bangladesh: Sarkar

Agartala, Dec 28: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar allegedly said that the militants of various banned outfits of the state have 26 camps inside Bangladesh.

While addressing a BSF official and jawans of 135 battalion at Silachari BOP, Mr Sarkar yesterday said the militants were hampering the development in the state. .

Mr Sarkar, in a hectic tour, went to remote parts of south Tripura bordering Chittagong hill tracts in Bangladesh.

He said, ''Militants were getting support of ISI. But after completion of 660 kms long fencing work, the overall situation will improvement in the Tripura.''
