Four Chhota Rajan aides arrested

Mumbai, Dec 28 (UNI) Four aides of Underworld don Chhota Rajan were nabbed and arms and ammunition seized from their possession near Copper Chimney Hotel, Juhu in western suburbs here.

Acting on a tip-off that four members of Chhota Rajan Gang would come to Copper Chimni Hotel to commit a robbery, sleuths of Detection Crime Branch of Juhu police station laid a trap at the spot. As soon as the four got down from a car, police identified and nabbed them red-handed yesterday.

They were identified as Devendra Jagtap (25), Naresh Hukumchand alias Kaliya Naresh (25), Sardar Suleman Khan alias Shakeel (28) and Sabir Ramshali Khan (25). Two foreign-made pistols, four magazines, 14 cartridges, a chopper and a knife were seized from them.

The four have been booked under Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Arms Act.
