Flood scam kingpin Jha demands security

Patna, Dec 28 (UNI) The alleged kingpin of multi crore rupees flood relief scam of Bihar, Santosh Kumar Jha today demanded police security cover for him out side the jail.

Accused Jha was released from jail yesterday on bail granted by the Patna High Court.

By filing a petition before the special vigilance judge of Patna S N P Singh it was stated by the accused Jha that on a report of vigilance department he was provided security cover with two regular police officers and two sections of Bihar military police during his production in court while in judicial custody.

It was also prayed that threat to his life still persisted hence the same police protection should be provided for his security out side the jail. The court called for a report in this connection from inspetor general of vigilance and senior SP Patna.
