CIAL plans public issue by year 2008

Kochi, Dec 28: Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) Managing Director S Bharath today said the company was planning for a public issue by 2008.

Speaking to reporters here, Mr Bharath said the company would go in for a public issue after settling a loan case with Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO), which was being heard at the Debt Recovery Tribunal.

To generate public interest in the proposed IPO, the company would conduct road shows in India and abroad, Mr Bharath added.
