CIAL declares 10 per cent dividend

Kochi, Dec 28 (UNI) Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) today declared a dividend of 10 per cent to its shareholders.

Speaking to reporters after the annual general meeting (AGM), CIAL Managing Director S Bharath said the dividend was fixed at 10 per cent considering the growth of the coampny.

The company has registered a topline growth of 10.37 per cent and it was good for an infrastructure company. The CIAL recorded a turnover of Rs 110.66 crore and a profit after tax of Rs 31.78 crore compared to last year's Rs 100.26 crore and 28.79 crore respectively.

The services in the international sector registered a growth of 10.85 per cent and the domestic services increased by 14.99 per cent over the previous year.

The company also completed the right issue of equity shares floated in May and a total of 147,175,039 equity shares were allotted to respective applicants, he added.
