Antony to visit Southern Air Command Headquarters

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 28 (UNI) Defence Minister A K Antony will visit the headquarters of Southern Air Command here on December 31.

This would be his first visit to the Southern Air Command after assuming charge as Defence Minister, according to a defence press release here today.

A guard of honour would be given to the Defence Minister on his arrival at the headquarters building of the Command at Akkulam.

SAC's Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Air Marshal P S Ahluwalia would give a presentation to the minister about the present and futuristic role of the Command.

Mr Antony would also interact with all Air Warriors of the Command.
