Two wounded in Baramulla IED blast

Baramulla, Dec 27 (UNI) At least two people were wounded when militants triggered an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast at Khwaja Bagh in this district today, official sources said.

They said militants blasted the IED when an Army vehicle was passing through Khwaja Bagh in this north Kashmir district at around 1435 hrs.

A tractor passing through the area came under the impact of the explosion, wounding two people travelling in it, the sources added.

The injured, identified as Mohammad Ishaq and Mohammad Maqbool, have been shifted to a hospital. However, no damage was done to the Army vehicle, the sources said.
