Two LeT militants gunned down in Doda

Jammu, Dec 27 (UNI) Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) commander Ashraf Ganie, who was involved in Kulahand massacre, and his accomplice were killed in an encounter with security forces today, official sources said here.

A fierce gun-battle between security forces and militants took place for seven hours. The militants were identified as Ashraf Ganie and Sohafi Asgari.

Ashraf Ganie was active in the Barat area for the past seven years and was involved in a numbar of militancy-related incidents.

The recovery included two AK-47 rifles, six magazines and a large quantity of ammunition.
